  ARTISTIC DIRECTOR   

THERESA FIETZ-GOUBRAN

Theresa received her Bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University where she finished a double major with honors in Dance and English Literature. She went on to perform on Broadway in the European tour of 42nd Street. Theresa also performed in two tours of Japan with The American Jukebox Show and The American Country Show.  She has had the pleasure of being Assistant/Associate Choreographer for Hersheypark for 10 years, with shows also in Atlantic City's Plaza Hotel and at Busch Gardens, Florida. Theresa has taught at both Purchase University and Queensborough College for their prestigious youth programs. She has worked with many studios teaching master classes and competition numbers and has worked as a sub at Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan. Theresa also served as Children’s Director for Graffiti Community Ministries, NYC and helped develop enrichment programs for at-risk children. Theresa is currently working on her Masters in Dance Studies out of Texas Tech University. Dance is a gift worth celebrating, to God be the glory!

Ms Gina

TEACHER

 

Gina received a B.F.A from Adelphi University majoring in Dance. She has been teaching children and adults for over 30 years. Gina has performed with the Lumiere Ballet Company. She has also performed with Jean Ann Ryan productions travelling to Japan and Australia. Gina is a gifted teacher who directed the dance program at The Greenvale School in Brookville, NY. She has a generous and genuine passion for teaching and is loved by all who are fortunate enough to take her classes. We are excited that Ms. Gina will be on staff at Gotta Dance

Mr Kenny

GUEST TEACHER

Kenneth Goubran graduated from NYU TISCH New Studio on Broadway with a BFA in Drama. He is an experienced Hip Hop dancer with training in gymnastics, parkour, jazz and theater dance. He is also an actor, singer and musician. He is a proud alum of HHS. He has been performing onstage since the age of 2 with his debut performance of Step In Time and has been quoted to say "I'll still be dancing when I'm 82". A multi-talented young man, he recently performed in White Christmas and with The Hip Hop Re-Education program traveling to Germany. We are so fortunate to have him on our Gotta Dance team.

Ms Jacqueline

TEACHER

Jacqueline graduated from Montclair State University with a BFA in Dance and a BA in Dance Education. Immediately following Graduation Jacqueline was afforded the opportunity to teach in the Orange Public School District in New Jersey as a K-12 Dance Teacher. Jacqueline is also represented by the top agency in NY, Bloc Talent Agency. Jacqueline’s experiences has allowed her to not only advance her skills as a dancer but also as a well-rounded performing artist and educator.   

Ms Karin

TEACHER

 

Ms Karin is a fun, energenic and experienced teacher who is a big hit with all of the children at Gotta Dance!

We are grateful to have her on our team of teachers at Gotta Dance!! A wonderful, creative mother of four:with over 25 years of dance training and teacher experience))

 

Mr Richard
GUEST TEACHER

A Juilliard Graduate with a BFA in Dance. He has toured the World dancing with Modern Dance companies and has shared the gift of dance throughout his amazing dance career.  He is an extremely talented choreographer and teacher. 

We are blessed to have Mr Richard with us at Gotta Dance.

Miss Jenna

TEACHER

Jenna has a BA in Elementary Education and has continued her dance education since the age of three. She views dance, music and creativity as necessities in her life. Fun fact: she loves all types of dance but tap holds a special place in her heart. A kind, professional, and inspiring person and teacher. We are thankful for Miss Jenna

Ms Gabrielle

VISITING TEACHER

Ms Gaby graduated salutatorian from Hunter College in Manhattan studying dance, music, economics and arts management. She enjoys teaching and has been studying ballet, contemporary, jazz and tap most of her life. She has extensive musical theater experience and recently worked at the New Victory Theater, helping present professional theater for young audiences. We are thankful for the gifts she brings to Gotta Dance.

Ms Carolyn

TEACHER

We are grateful to have Ms Carolyn on our team of teachers at Gotta Dance!! A wonderful, creative mother of three. Ms Carolyn has danced all of her life and is an amazing teacher with over 15 years of experience in the classroom. 

 

Ms Susan

 Teacher

Ms.Susan has an B.S. is Missiology from Nyack College. She also studied Dance Education at Hunter College in Manhattan earning 30+ credits. Her training includes study with Kelli Barclay, Matthew Rushing, Jose de la Cuesta, as well as collegiate study at Montclair State University and Hunter College with additional dance training at the Harkness Dance Foundation at 92nd St Y.  She has been teaching dance for 20 years in schools, camps, studios, and non-profit organizations throughout the tri-state area.  Susan’s choreography has been performed several times at events for the American Cancer Society and the traveling Vietnam War Memorial.
